Course Overview:
In this hands-on course, girls will dive into all aspects of engineering, programming, and design. Whether you’re a beginner or have some experience, this course is designed to empower you to create, innovate, and build robots. Here’s what you’ll learn: Introduction to Robotics: Understand the fundamentals of robotics, including components, sensors, and actuators. Explore different types of robots and their applications. Building and Prototyping: Work in teams to design and construct robot chassis. Use accessible materials to build prototypes and test your ideas.
Programming and Control:
Learn basic programming concepts using languages like VEXcode. Program your robots to perform specific tasks and respond to various inputs.
Problem Solving and Iteration: Tackle real-world challenges by applying critical thinking and iterative design. Refine your robot designs based on feedback and testing. Inspiration and Role
Models: Hear from industry experts and female role models in STEM. Discover the impact of robotics in fields like healthcare, environmental conservation, and space exploration.
