VEX Robotics Starter Course: A Journey of Coding and Creativity Dates: 12/20/2024, 12/27/2024, 01/04/2025, 01/11/2025 Time: Wednesday, 6:00 PM - 8:00 PM Location: Burlington Classroom # Grades: G7+ Course Overview: Welcome to the Robotics Starter Course: A Journey of Coding and Creativity, a short-term introductory program tailored for upper-grade students. No prior experience is needed! This 4-session course combines hands-on practice with fun coding activities, guiding students through the exciting world of robotics—from hardware assembly to smart programming. Course Highlights: • Comprehensive Introduction: Gain foundational knowledge of the VEX V5 robotics system, including hardware assembly and sensor applications. • Fun Coding: Learn to program with Vexcode and write code to control robots and complete tasks. • Team Collaboration: Engage in group challenges designed to enhance teamwork and problem-solving skills. • Creative Stimulation: Experience robotics competitions and interactive activities to discover the limitless possibilities of robotics technology.
