A604 - Space Missions

Class Description

A604 - Space Missions

Dates: September - January
Time: Monday to Friday, 9 AM - 4 PM
Location: Burlington Classroom
Grades: 7+

Course Description:
The 1960s marked the early glory days of space exploration, driven by the space race between the U.S. and the U.S.S.R., the Apollo program, and the successful Moon landings. After this heroic decade, space exploration lost some of its impetus. In this course, we will delve into the history, science, and cultural impact of space exploration. We’ll explore the technical, political, and cultural contexts that led to the birth of the space age. Additionally, we’ll analyze current trends and future projects in space exploration.
