Seeking a Mechanical Engineering Instructor who is passionate about robotics and STEAM education. The ideal candidate will possess a robust understanding of mechanical engineering principles, robotics, and AI, combined with practical experience in these fields. This role calls for a visionary educator ready to inspire students and contribute to our curriculum’s dynamic and innovative development.

Requirements

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver engaging and comprehensive mechanical engineering courses, with a strong emphasis on robotics or AI applications.

  • Collaborate with educational teams to enhance and develop curriculum materials that reflect the latest industry trends and technological advancements.

  • Lead workshops and hands-on sessions that prepare students for robotics competitions and real-world challenges.

  • Act as a mentor and guide for students, fostering a nurturing environment that encourages curiosity and innovation.

  • Coordinate with other instructors and curriculum developers to ensure a cohesive educational experience across all programs.


Qualifications:

  • Required: Master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Robotics, or a closely related field.

  • Preferred: Ph.D. in Mechanical Engineering or related disciplines.

  • Significant experience in teaching mechanical engineering at the post-secondary level or in a similar educational setting.

  • Demonstrable expertise in robotics and a proven track record of integrating AI into practical learning scenarios.

  • Experience in leading student teams in national or international robotics competitions.

  • Strong organizational and communication skills, capable of working collaboratively with faculty, students, and external partners.

  • An entrepreneurial spirit, with the ability to adapt to changing technological landscapes and integrate innovative teaching methods.


Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience in developing and implementing curriculum changes to incorporate cutting-edge technologies.

  • Background in a startup or innovative educational environment where hands-on and experiential learning is emphasized.

  • Demonstrated entrepreneurial spirit, with a proven ability to innovate and adapt educational practices in response to evolving technological and market trends.

  • Strong coordination, organization, and communication skills, essential for managing multidisciplinary projects and teams effectively.
